Moose Mountain Bear Outfitters has maintained family hunting and fishing traditions gained from growing up in the 40's, 50's and 60's in Northern Ontario.
This passion for the outdoors has resulted in careers producing two Ontario Conservation Officers, a Professional Forester and recently a new Fisheries Biologist in the family.

With this hunting background and bear densities that are unrivalled in many other parts of the Province, Moose Mountain has developed a black bear hunt that maintains a consistently high success rate for both rifle, archery and black powder shooters.
The bear management area has a mix of hardwoods, pine and spruce which offers all the needed food and cover to maintain these healthy populations.
The Sudbury basin borders to the south  of this BMA and has thousands of acres of farmland which provide the local bear population with abundant food sources as well. |
